Jack has received several awards for his books and work. On three occasions, Meeting News named him one of the 25 Most Powerful People in the Meetings and Events Industry, based on his work in the area of return on investment (ROI). The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) presented him with an award for one of his books and honored an ROI study with its highest award for creativity. Jack’s professional experiences include serving as the training and development manager for two Fortune 500 firms. He has also worked as a senior human resource officer in two firms, as president of a regional bank, and as a management professor at a major state university.
